This assessment is for educational purposes only. It is not a medical diagnosis and is not a substitute for care from a licensed provider. Use it as an invitation to get curious about your body, not as a verdict on your health.
How to use this assessment
This assessment has two parts, and together they personalize both phases of your Joria experience.
Part 1: Healing Foundations helps you identify which lifestyle domains are asking for the most attention right now. Your results will guide where you start in Phase 1.
Part 2: Body Systems helps you identify which of your upstream physiological systems are sending the loudest signals. Your results will guide which modules to pay closest attention to as you move through Phase 2: The Flow.
You don't need to do everything at once. These results are an invitation, not a to-do list. Start where it feels most accessible, most exciting, or most urgent. Small, consistent shifts create lasting impact.

Part 1
Healing Foundations
Where does your body most need support right now?
Section 1
Nutrition + Gut Health
Your digestive system is the foundation beneath the foundation. What you eat matters, and so does whether your body can actually absorb and use it.
I eat irregularly or often skip meals
I feel bloated, gassy, or uncomfortably full after eating
I experience constipation: infrequent, difficult, or incomplete bowel movements
Fewer than once daily or needing to strain may be a sign of slow motility, thyroid function, or inadequate fiber and hydration.
I experience loose stools, diarrhea, or urgency, or my bowel patterns are unpredictable
Loose or urgent stools can reflect gut inflammation, dysbiosis, food sensitivities, or a stressed nervous system.
I have food sensitivities or reactions I haven't fully identified
I feel tired or foggy after meals
I have a complicated or stressful relationship with food
I rarely eat fermented foods, fiber-rich vegetables, or diverse whole foods
I experience nausea, acid reflux, or stomach discomfort regularly
Section score: 0 / 18
Section 2
Environmental Impacts
We live in bodies shaped by our environments. Endocrine-disrupting chemicals, air quality, water, and the products we use daily all influence hormonal health.
I regularly use conventional cleaning products, air fresheners, or scented candles indoors
I use conventional personal care products (lotions, shampoos, deodorants, makeup) without checking ingredients
I drink unfiltered tap water or use plastic bottles regularly
I eat non-organic produce regularly or rely heavily on processed/packaged foods
I am exposed to pesticides, chemicals, or heavy metals in my home or work environment
I use non-stick cookware or heat food in plastic containers
I have limited access to fresh air, green space, or natural light
Section score: 0 / 14
Section 3
Movement
Movement is medicine, but so is rest. This section is about noticing how your body relates to physical activity: whether it feels nourishing or depleting, accessible or out of reach.
I sit or am sedentary for most of my day
I feel exhausted after physical activity rather than energized
I engage in high-intensity exercise frequently without adequate recovery time
I don't have consistent movement that I enjoy
My body feels stiff, achy, or disconnected from physical sensation
Movement feels like a punishment or obligation rather than something supportive
Section score: 0 / 12
Section 4
Spiritual + Emotional Health
Your nervous system holds your history. Chronic stress, unprocessed grief, trauma, and disconnection from meaning all shape your hormonal environment. There are no right or wrong answers here.
I feel chronically stressed, overwhelmed, or like I can't keep up
I carry unresolved grief, loss, or experiences I haven't had space to process
I feel disconnected from my body or a sense of purpose
I experience anxiety, persistent worry, or a sense of dread regularly
I feel isolated or lacking in community and meaningful connection
I use food, alcohol, or other substances to manage my emotions
I have a history of trauma, including medical or reproductive trauma, that still affects me
I feel like my fertility journey has taken a toll on my mental and emotional wellbeing
Section score: 0 / 16
Section 5
Pleasure + Rest
Rest is not a reward for productivity; it is a biological necessity. And pleasure is not indulgent; it is regulatory. This section looks at how well your nervous system gets to experience safety, softness, and restoration.
I have difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep, or waking feeling rested
I feel guilty or restless when I rest or do nothing
I rarely experience genuine pleasure, delight, or joy in my daily life
My libido feels low or absent
I feel "on" most of the time, like I rarely get to fully decompress
I don't have consistent practices that bring me comfort or ease
I sleep fewer than 7 hours most nights
Section score: 0 / 14
Part 2
Body Systems
Which upstream systems are asking for your attention?
Before you begin: unscored
Your context + identity
This section is not scored. It is an orientation: a chance to name your context so that the program can meet you where you actually are. There are no wrong answers and nothing to optimize.
This information stays with you. It is not shared, analyzed, or scored. It is simply an invitation to arrive in this program as your full self.

Section 1
Reproductive + Hormonal Health
This section invites you to reflect on your reproductive experience as a whole: your cycle patterns, your pain, your history, and what your body has been telling you. Skip any questions that don't apply to your body or experience.
Cycle patterns
My menstrual cycles are irregular, unpredictable, or frequently absent
My cycles are consistently very short (less than 21 days) or very long (more than 35 days)
I experience spotting before my period begins or at mid-cycle
My period is very light, lasting fewer than 2 days or producing very little flow
My period is very heavy, soaking through a pad or tampon in an hour or less, or passing large clots
I suspect my luteal phase (time between ovulation and period) is short, 10 days or fewer
Pain + physical experience
I experience significant pain or cramping with my period that disrupts my daily life
I experience pelvic pain, pressure, or heaviness outside of my period
I experience pain, discomfort, or bleeding during or after sexual activity
I experience pain with bowel movements or urination, especially around my period
I feel pelvic floor tension, tightness, pain with penetration, or other pelvic floor symptoms that feel persistent or disruptive
My pain has worsened over time or is not well-controlled by typical measures
Diagnoses + conditions
I have been diagnosed with or suspect PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome)
I have been diagnosed with or suspect endometriosis
I have been diagnosed with or suspect uterine fibroids
I have been diagnosed with or suspect adenomyosis
I have been told I have hormonal imbalances, including estrogen dominance, low progesterone, or elevated androgens
Reproductive history: unscored, for your reflection only
I have a history of pregnancy loss, including miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, or termination
You do not need to share the details. Simply noticing whether this is part of your history is enough.
I have a history of pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), STIs, or reproductive tract infections
I have been on hormonal birth control and noticed changes in my cycle, mood, or fertility awareness coming off it
I have been trying to conceive or build my family for 6 months or more without success
This includes natural conception, IUI, IVF, donor pathways, surrogacy, and any other family-building route.
I have undergone or am considering fertility treatments (IUI, IVF, or other assisted reproduction)
Section score: 0 / 34 (reproductive history questions unscored)
Section 2
Thyroid Health
Your thyroid sets the metabolic tempo for nearly every system in your body, including your cycle, ovulation, and hormonal rhythm. Subclinical thyroid dysfunction is one of the most underdiagnosed contributors to cycle irregularity and early pregnancy loss.
I feel persistently tired, even with enough sleep
I feel cold when others around me are comfortable, or I have difficulty regulating my body temperature
My hair has been thinning, falling out, or feels brittle
I experience constipation or very slow digestion
My menstrual cycles are irregular, very light, or have become longer or shorter between periods
I have been told or have discovered that I am not ovulating regularly
I feel mentally foggy, slow to think, or have difficulty concentrating
I have been told my thyroid levels are "normal" but I still feel off
My skin feels dry or puffy, especially around my face or eyes
Section score: 0 / 18
Section 3
Adrenal + Stress Response
Your adrenal glands govern your stress response, and chronic stress is one of the most powerful disruptors of reproductive hormones. When your body is in sustained survival mode, reproduction moves down the priority list.
I feel wired but tired, exhausted but unable to fully rest or switch off
I get a second wind late at night and feel most alert after 9pm
I feel anxious, reactive, or on edge without a clear reason
I rely on caffeine to function, especially in the morning
I crash in the early afternoon and feel a significant dip in energy
I feel overwhelmed by tasks that didn't used to bother me
I have difficulty recovering from stress; it lingers longer than it should
I experience heart palpitations, dizziness when standing, or feel lightheaded often
I experience frequent headaches or persistent brain fog
Section score: 0 / 18
Section 4
Cardiometabolic Function
Cardiometabolic function is how your body manages energy, blood sugar, fats, and metabolic balance. At Joria, we align with a Health at Every Size (HAES)-informed approach. These questions are not about judging your body; they are an invitation to notice patterns within your own body over time.
I feel shaky, irritable ("hangry"), or lightheaded if I go too long without eating
I experience energy crashes or a significant dip in the afternoon
I get intense cravings for sugar or refined carbohydrates, or feel better after eating them
I feel hungry or unsatisfied shortly after eating a full meal
I gain weight easily, especially around my midsection, or notice my body composition shifting in ways that feel new
Bodies change across the lifespan. This question is about noticing changes in your own body, not comparing yourself to external standards.
I've noticed new or changing darker, thicker, or velvety skin patches (especially on the neck, underarms, or groin area)
Some pigmentation is normal, especially for people with more melanated skin. This refers to changes that feel new or textured for you.
I've noticed increased facial or body hair growth, or acne along my jawline or chin
I've been told I have elevated cholesterol, blood sugar, or blood pressure
Section score: 0 / 16
Section 5
Immune Health
Your immune system plays a quiet but critical role in fertility; it must learn to recognize and protect a developing embryo. When the immune system is dysregulated, it can interfere with implantation and early pregnancy in ways that are rarely discussed.
I get sick frequently or feel like I'm always fighting something off
I have a known autoimmune condition or have been told I may have one
I experience chronic inflammation: joint pain, swelling, or inflammatory flares
I feel puffy, inflamed, or swollen in ways that feel systemic rather than local
I have recurrent infections (yeast, bacterial vaginosis, UTIs, sinus infections)
I have experienced recurrent pregnancy loss or implantation failure
My allergies or sensitivities have increased over time
I feel like my immune system is either overreactive or underreactive
I have a history of chronic illness that involved an immune component
Section score: 0 / 18
Section 6
Gut Health as a Systemic Signal
This section looks at your gut's role as an upstream systemic regulator; how it influences inflammation, immune function, hormone metabolism, and even the vaginal microbiome environment that supports fertility.
I have or suspect a history of intestinal permeability ("leaky gut") or gut dysbiosis
I have a history of antibiotic use that was frequent or extended
My bowel patterns are consistently irregular: chronic constipation, loose stools, or alternating between both
Constipation can impair estrogen clearance, allowing estrogen to recirculate. Loose stools may signal inflammation or dysbiosis. Both affect the hormonal environment.
I experience recurrent yeast infections or bacterial vaginosis
I have been diagnosed with IBS, IBD, Crohn's, or another gut-related condition
I notice that my gut symptoms get worse at certain points in my cycle
I have chronic skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis, or acne that may have a gut connection
I experience significant brain fog, mood shifts, or anxiety that I suspect may be gut-related
Section score: 0 / 16
